Polo in the Park is back. Sat 7/11 — real polo, on the lawn at Morven Park in Leesburg. Bring low chairs and a picnic, watch the match, and stomp the divots at halftime like you know what you're doing. About 20 minutes from Ashburn, and it runs Saturday evenings through the month — so if this one's full, you've got more shots at it.

What Actually Matters
The one to act on: the power-line vote has a hard July 20 deadline.
Most important deadline — by July 20: the Golden-to-Mars power line. The county is
pressing the School Board for a last-chance vote. If the board doesn't act, the state's route — nearly 200-foot poles between Rock Ridge High School and Loudoun Valley Estates — becomes final. If you live near that corridor, this is the one to watch.
